Residential Garden Makeover
Jo and David wanted to create a poolside area for their family to enjoy, with easy ongoing maintenance.
We excavated the existing garden, designed a new deck with room for poolside loungers, and installed a new lawn complimented by lush, minimal planting. We were delighted to be asked back to create a complimentary design for both their front entrance and back garden.
Rural Landscaping Project
Tony wanted a new kwila deck with large separate areas for entertaining. He needed space for his outdoor kitchen, BBQ, spa pool and bar.
We designed and built a large macrocarpa pergola to go over the outdoor kitchen and BBQ area. Placing white pebbles in between the kwila created a division within the deck areas but, at the same time, a sense of continuity. The long, raised planters served to soften the space and reduce the wind. The stainless steel downlights and LED striplighting added ambience.

A Coastal Garden Renovation
Above all else, Jo wanted a lush garden area that provided her with plenty of privacy. In terms of look & feel, she was after a formal design, but one that was still fitting for a coastal property. To achieve Jo’s vision, we built two large macrocarpa planters, adding palms & various exotic plants to create privacy. Between the planters, we designed a timber boardwalk using Fijian Mahogany, and added black mondo grass inserts leading to a new deck. The end result…a lush outdoor environment that is practical, aesthetically pleasing and achieved Jo’s vision for her coastal property.
Commercial Show Home Renovation
A local Auckland house building company had a detailed landscape architecture plan for their Huapai Show Home. It required soft landscaping, instant turf and a large amount of excavation. We implemented the landscape architect’s plan with surgical precision. Much detail went into the planting, and the combination of pebble and black bark complimented the simple architecture of the house. The building company was pleased with our expertise, attention to detail and seamless project management. Our team had high praise for the landscape architect’s vision and were proud that we were able to turn that vision into reality.
